Kimmo Nieminen

Mr. Kimmo Nieminen, the visionary founder of the VxMRS™ algorithm and President and Chairman of Voxel Systems, has over 30 years of leadership in science, space, subsea, and military operations, including serving in the Finnish Navy Special Forces (SUKK 62) under the command of the U.S. Navy SEALs. He has managed multi-million-dollar projects across the International Space Station, Space Shuttle, and Artemis III missions. With 17 NASA awards recognizing his contributions to space exploration, Mr. Nieminen’s expertise in pioneering technologies extends to advanced medical diagnostics. At Voxel Systems, he spearheads efforts to revolutionize medical imaging and diagnostics with cutting-edge AI and MR technologies, positioning the company at the forefront of global healthcare innovation.

Mr. Ken Hooper, Chief Operating Officer of Voxel Systems, is a strategic executive with over 30 years of leadership experience across marketing, process management, development, and finance. As COO and co-founder of Voxel Systems, Ken played a pivotal role in securing an exclusive license for the commercialization of our breakthrough Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) technology, while spearheading the development of the company’s operational systems. His expertise in managing complex ventures and leading high-level business operations has been instrumental in driving Voxel's growth. With a focus on innovation and commercialization, Ken is committed to advance healthcare diagnostics through cutting-edge medical technologies.

Mr. Simon Ayat is a seasoned leader in the energy sector, having held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Schlumberger Ltd. (NYSE: SLB), one of the world’s largest and most influential technology companies, with annual revenues exceeding $28 billion. During his tenure, he led the company’s financial strategy across its vast global operations. Currently, Mr. Ayat brings his wealth of expertise to the boards of publicly traded companies, serving as a director for Tenaris SA (NYSE: TS) and Liberty Energy, Inc. (NYSE: LBRT). In addition to his board role at Voxel, he advises Voxel as an acting CFO and, as an investor, ensures the proper governance of investor relations for the company.

With extensive experience serving on public and private company boards, Matt provides strategic leadership in guiding early-stage companies through growth and regulatory landscapes. Mr. Derek Myers, a seasoned investment strategist and board member of Voxel Systems, brings over 25 years of expertise in corporate advisory, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions. As an Executive Managing Director at Newmark, he has overseen more than 120 high-profile due diligence projects for top-tier private equity firms like The Gores Group and Starwood Capital. His deep knowledge of strategic planning and portfolio management has helped multinational corporations achieve substantial growth and operational efficiency. Derek’s financial acumen and investment insights make him a key player in driving Voxel Systems' strategic growth and commercialization of our cutting-edge medical technologies.

Dr. Walid K. Adham

CEO

Dr. Walid K. Adham, MD, is a visionary leader and accomplished CEO with over 20 years of experience in radiology and healthcare. As both a physician and a business executive, Dr. Adham founded and led one of the largest and most respected radiology groups in the U.S., expanding the practice to serve 180 hospitals and imaging facilities in multiple states, before its acquisition by a multibillion-dollar publicly traded organization. Now serving as the CEO of Voxel Systems, he is driving groundbreaking advancements in medical imaging technology. A board-certified neuroradiologist, Dr. Adham has held various leadership roles across major healthcare institutions and remains deeply committed to global health, providing free care to children in underserved countries. Dr. Adham serves also as a Board Director.

Dr. Kevin King

CMO

Dr. Kevin King, MD, MSCS, Chief Medical Officer of Voxel Systems, is a nationally recognized expert in neuroradiology and a pioneering figure in advanced MRI diagnostics. With a distinguished career that includes leading the Neuroimaging Analysis Laboratory at Barrow Neurological Institute, Dr. King has redefined the use of MRI in detecting and treating neurodegenerative diseases. He holds a medical degree from the prestigious Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program and an MS in Clinical Translational Sciences from UT Southwestern. His groundbreaking research in MR spectroscopy at the Huntington Medical Research Institute and leadership at Voxel are driving transformative innovations in early disease detection and advancing patient care.

Dr. David Wolf

CTO

Dr. David Wolf, MD, Voxel's Chief Technology Officer, is a visionary leader bridging engineering, medicine, and aerospace innovation. As a pioneer in medical ultrasound imaging, he introduced digital signal processing techniques that form the foundation of modern systems used worldwide. At NASA, Dr. Wolf developed the first ultrasonic medical imaging system to operate in space and made groundbreaking contributions to 3-dimensional tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and associated cancer research applications, now widely utilized commercially and in fundamental research. With 18 U.S. patents, he was named NASA Inventor of the Year, inducted into the Space Technology Hall of Fame, and recognized with over 20 Space Act Awards. Dr. Wolf completed four spaceflights, spent 168 days on-orbit, performed seven spacewalks, and conducted zero-gravity research advancing his groundbreaking bioreactor technology. Dr. Wolf served as a direct advisor to the U.S. Cabinet, the President, and the Vice President on space policy. As Chief Medical Officer of an artificial intelligence-driven "in silico" drug design company, he innovated the use of computed quantum mechanical parameters as AI training features.

Stefan Blüml

CSO

Dr. Stefan Blüml PhD, Chief Science Officer at Voxel Systems, is a globally recognized leader in MR Spectroscopy. He served as the editor of a textbook on MR Spectroscopy for pediatric brain disorders and has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications in top-tier international journals within the field. Dr. Blüml earned his PhD in MR physics from the University of Heidelberg in Germany. He later contributed groundbreaking work at the Huntington Medical Research Institutes, where he pioneered the development of multi-nuclear spectroscopy. Since 2001, he has been directing the New Imaging Technology Laboratory at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where he established the clinical proton MR spectroscopy program. Dr. Blüml is also a Research Professor of Radiology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.

Dr. Paul Berger

Medical Advisor

Dr. Paul Berger, MD, a trailblazing figure in healthcare and widely recognized as the father of teleradiology, is an invaluable advisor to Voxel Systems. As the founder, chairman, and CEO of NightHawk Radiology, Dr. Berger revolutionized medical imaging by creating a platform that provided 24/7 access to top-tier radiological expertise worldwide, transforming care for millions. Under his leadership, NightHawk set the gold standard for remote diagnostics, and provided for around the clock radiology services for patients. Dr. Berger was the second pediatric neuroradiology specialist in the United States, where his innovations helped shape the field. At Voxel, his insights continue to drive our care delivery, commercialization and reimbursement strategies.

Dr. Randall Wright

Medical Advisor

Dr. Randall Wright, MD, a board-certified Neurologist and Neurophysiologist serves as Medical Advisor to Voxel Systems. He currently works as the Medical Director for the Neuroscience Institute of Houston, where he directs and manages care for Neurological patients. Prior to his current role, he served as Director of the Houston Methodist Hospital Brain Wellness Center, where he led innovative approaches to brain health, advancing treatments for neurological disorders. With faculty roles at Texas A&M, Houston Methodist, and UT School of Medicine, Dr. Wright is a recognized leader in neurophysiology and education. His deep clinical and research expertise, coupled with multiple leadership roles, including Medical Director of Conroe Regional Neurovascular Stroke Center, brings unparalleled insights to Voxel.

Dr. Kyle Myers

Regulatory Advisor

Kyle J. Myers, Ph.D., is a recognized and highly respected leader in medical imaging and regulatory science. With over three decades at the FDA, she is known for her pioneering advancements in regulatory science that facilitated FDA authorizations of innovations in 3D imaging, digital pathology, and AI-enabled diagnostics, and played a key role in the drafting of policy for Computer Aided Diagnostics. A National Academy of Engineering member and esteemed Fellow in multiple professional societies, Dr. Myers has authored groundbreaking publications, co-edited seminal books like Foundations of Image Science, and delivered keynote speeches at top industry conferences. As Regulatory Advisor to Voxel Systems, she will leverage her deep technical insights and FDA expertise to develop a comprehensive plan and strategy to guide the company toward securing clinical approvals.

Dr. Sunder Rajan, PhD, is a globally renowned expert in MRI safety and medical imaging, serving as a key advisor to Voxel Systems. With over 30 years of experience spanning academia, industry, and regulatory environments, Dr. Rajan has shaped pivotal safety standards at the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health, influencing the global landscape of MRI technology. His leadership at GE Healthcare and Bracco Diagnostics advanced revolutionary imaging products that transformed the industry. With a PhD from the University of Chicago and post-doctoral research at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Rajan brings unparalleled expertise to Voxel, driving our regulatory strategy through innovation and setting new benchmarks in medical diagnostics.

Ziad Rouag

Regulatory Advisor

Ziad Rouag, JD, is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of unparalleled expertise in the medical device industry, recognized for delivering transformative results and driving high-impact acquisitions. With a proven track record of navigating complex FDA regulations, Ziad has played a decisive role in crafting regulatory, clinical and quality strategies and securing FDA clearances/approvals that has propelled global growth for industry leaders like Novartis, J&J and Abbott and a number of acquired start-ups such as Evalve, PQ Bypass. As a Juris Doctor, he integrates legal, clinical, and regulatory strategies with an operational focus to tackle regulatory challenges. As Regulatory Advisor to Voxel Systems, he will design a strategic blueprint to lead the company through the clinical approval process, solidifying its position in the market. He holds B.S. and B.A. degrees from McGill University and a J.D. from Rutgers University.

Thao Tran

Director of Clinical Operations

Ms. Thao Tran, Director of Clinical Operations at Voxel, is an accomplished leader with over 17 years of expertise in MR imaging and spectroscopy. This includes being involved in the original research that led to the licensed patent that drives Voxel’s technology. Holding a Master of Science in Applied Sciences of Magnetic Resonance, she has managed complex clinical trials and core imaging labs, overseeing Phase 1 and Phase 3 trials across oncology and neurology. Her experience includes developing clinical protocols, managing imaging data, and ensuring MR safety in compliance with ACR guidelines. Currently serving a 3-year term as Executive Officer of The International Society of MR Radiographers, Ms. Tran's leadership and deep industry knowledge are instrumental in driving Voxel’s innovations.

As a former National MRI Sales Manager at Bruker, Mat has deep industry connections and a unique approach to scaling AI-driven medical imaging solutions. His strategic insights and comprehensive knowledge of MR technologies, data science, and regulatory landscapes position him as a pivotal force in Voxel’s growth.
